If my BF hates talking on the phone and we are long distance, shouldnt we just separate until we can be together or is he even worth it. some of my friends say that i may be to demanding, but is it reaelly wrong to want to know that he cares?

why dont you try to stick it out and make the relationship work. its worth it to try this rather than regret not trying after you are broken up

How much do you care? Most guys I know really do not like to sit on the phone and gab like us girls do. Doesn't mean that they don't care. Maybe give him some breaks. Instead of calling 2-3 times a day, limit yourself to 2-3 times a week. Keep the conversation short. Write him letters in between. That way, you are showing him that you care. Gives him the option of calling you when he starts to miss you. That would show you he cares.

happy thoughts.......

Telephones suck for us guys when it comes to talking about us, our feelings, and what were going thru. It isn't that we don't like to talk, we just don't feel right talking over a phone. At least in my perception, I NEED to see a person or else I don't feel confident talking deep with them, I can do it, but its hard to keep up. It doesn't mean the end, Peggy agian with some great advice their FOLLOW IT, and realize its a pretty general thing, but it runs deeper then just not wanting to talk, its extremely hard for us to get our hearts into it like you ladies..... but trust we still feel for you..... we do the same with each other, trust me, I've had a bro (15 years I've known this guy) that only one lady has EVER gotten as close to me as him, and I call him once ever other month for about 35 mins and I'm fine with that, and so is he.We only really get deep in conversation when in person, we like to hide that heart. And this makes us both happy. Then when you find yourself with a "girlfriend" you find yourself being forced to do the more unnatural thing and bare your heart on the telephone, not our thing, we need eyes....

Hello
Since your in a LDR, yes i feel he should want to talk with you. When my gf was away for a few months , i looked forward to talking to her all night long. When you care about someone and they are away, you both have too reasure eachother that you care. But not all guys feel that way, some just don't like talking period. You should talk to him amd explain how you feel about the phone. If he cares he will at least listen and explain things back too you.I wouldn't break up until you feel you have too..Your heart will answer that for you.Hang in their , things may get better..Take day by day..Good Luck
